SANSD makes anti vibration pads in 2″ x 2″, 3″ x 3″, 4″ x 4″, 6″ x 6″ and 18″ x 18″ squares, with 7/8″ as the usual thickness for a laminated pad. Because we foam our own EVA sheet and laminate in house, sizes and thicknesses outside that list are cut to order, including 3/8″, 3/4″ and 1″, and larger sheets for cutting on site.

The convention in this market is to divide the weight of the equipment by the rated load of the pad in pounds per square inch, then divide that area between the mounting points. Most laminated pads on the market are rated around 50 psi, so a 1,800 lb machine on four feet needs roughly 9 square inches under each foot, which is a 3″ x 3″ pad. Most buyers take EVA. The closed-cell foam core is lighter, is not affected by water, oil or chemicals, and can be foamed in your brand colour. Cork is the traditional construction and is still named by name in many HVAC drawings and specifications, so choose cork when the specification calls for it or when your customers expect it.

The EVA core is closed cell, so it does not absorb water, condensate or oil, and it is not broken down by the chemicals that attack cork over time. Cork-cored pads absorb moisture unless the edges are sealed, which is one of the main reasons buyers move from cork to EVA.

The minimum depends on the mix rather than on any single item, because most orders combine several sizes and both materials. Send the sizes and quantities you have in mind and we will confirm the minimum and the price for that combination.

Yes. A single container can carry several sizes, both the EVA and the cork construction, different thicknesses and different colours, so you can restock more than one line in one shipment instead of ordering each item separately.

Yes. SANSD prints your artwork and barcode on the cartons, packs the pads in the counts your channel sells, applies FNSKU, UPC or retailer labels at the factory, and can foam the core in your brand colour. Cartons arrive ready for the warehouse so nothing has to be opened and repacked.
