Non-Slip Sole Patterns
The pattern is embossed into the EVA while the sheet is pressed, so it is part of the sole rather than a coating on top. These are the plates we run most; the first three are what slipper factories order most often.

From Your Pattern to Production
Slipper soles have no standard sizes. Every factory has its own last, its own grading and its own heel height, so we work from what you already use.

A paper pattern, a drawing or a pair of soles you already buy. Tell us the thickness at the forefoot and at the heel, and the colour.
We make the cutting die
Your shape is cut with a steel-rule die made from your pattern. There is no mould and no mould lead time. If you have no pattern, we sample from the closest die we already hold.
Free sample for approval
We cut a sample in your thickness, pattern and colour and send it at no charge. Nothing goes into production until you have held it.
Bulk production, priced per pair
Soles are cut, inspected, bagged size by size and loaded. Sheets, if you take them, travel in the same container.
Inside the Production Line
Foaming, embossing, cutting, inspection and packing all happen inside our own plant, so nothing is subcontracted between your order and the container.

Die cutting
Sheets are cut on clicker presses with the steel-rule die made from your pattern.
Sorting and inspection
Cut soles are checked pair by pair for thickness, edge and colour before they are counted.
Bagged by size
Each size goes into its own bag with a size tag, so your line opens one bag per size.
Stacked and tallied
Bags are stacked by order and tallied against the packing list before loading.

Loaded at our own plant, FOB Xiamen, with sheets and soles in the same container if you take both.
Why Slipper Factories Use EVA
EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) is a closed-cell foam. For a house slipper it is the cheapest way to get grip, cushioning and low weight out of one material.
EVA foam
Light, closed cell, does not take up water, cuts cleanly with a die and takes an embossed pattern straight from the press. The usual choice for cotton, plush and felt slippers.
PU
Heavier and more expensive, normally injected into a mould, so every new shape means a new mould and a new lead time.
Rubber / TPR
Hard wearing and heavier again. Sensible for outdoor footwear, more sole than a house slipper needs, and it lifts both weight and freight cost.
Felt / textile
Warm and traditional, but it soaks up water, wears through quickly and gives no grip on a tiled floor.

Most of our sole customers are footwear factories buying material by the container, not by the pair.
Cotton and plush slipper factories
The main line of our sole business. Soft top face against the lining, embossed pattern on the floor side, usually 7 mm to 20 mm.
Felt and wool slipper makers
An EVA sole under a felt upper keeps the traditional look and stops the felt wearing through on tiles.
Hotel and disposable slipper suppliers
Thin sheet from 3 mm to 5 mm, cut in large runs, bagged by size for hotel and spa packs.
Sandal and flip-flop makers
Thicker sheet and wedge profiles, cut to the same pattern process.

Do you sell EVA foam sheet, finished soles, or both?
Both. Factories with their own clicker presses take pattern-embossed sheet at 1.2 m x 2.4 m and cut it themselves. Factories that would rather skip that step send us a pattern and take soles cut, counted and bagged by size. A single container can carry both. Sheet is quoted by the sheet and soles by the pair.
What thicknesses can you make?
From 1 mm up to 90 mm. Thin sheet around 3 mm to 5 mm is normal for hotel and disposable slippers, 7 mm to 20 mm covers most cotton and plush house slippers, and thicker sheet is used for wedge profiles and sandals.
How do you handle sizes and shapes?
There is no standard sole shape, so we work from yours. Send a paper pattern, a drawing or a pair of the soles you buy now, and the cutting die is made from that. Your own size grading is followed, whatever the size run.
Can you make a wedge sole, thin at the front and thicker at the heel?
Yes, and it needs no mould. A profile such as 7 mm at the forefoot and 17 mm at the heel is built from the sheet and the die, which is why a new shape does not carry mould tooling time.
I do not have a paper pattern. Can you still quote?
Yes. We hold a large number of dies from earlier orders. Tell us the size and roughly the shape you want, we cut a sample from the closest die we have and you judge it from the physical sample.
Is the pattern printed or embossed?
Embossed. The plate presses the pattern into the EVA while the sheet is made, so the grip is part of the sole and cannot wear off like a printed or sprayed finish.
Can you match the colour and the hardness of the sole I buy now?
Send a sample. We match the colour against it and foam to the same feel, then send you a sample to approve before production starts.
What is the minimum order?
It depends on the thickness, colour and size mix, since most orders combine several of each. Send us the sizes, thicknesses and quantities you have in mind and we confirm the minimum with the quotation.
What is the lead time?
Twenty-five days from confirmed specification and approved sample. A new colour match or a pattern plate we do not already hold is quoted with its own lead time at the enquiry stage.
How are the soles packed and shipped?
Soles are bagged size by size with a size tag on each bag, stacked, tallied against the packing list and loaded at our own plant. We quote FOB Xiamen, and CIF or DDP on request.
Who makes them, and what certification do you hold?
SANSD (Fujian) Plastic Co., Ltd. has made closed-cell EVA and PE foam in Jinjiang, Fujian, China since 1982, across 50 foaming lines on a 200,000 square metre site. The company holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, BSCI and GRS certification, and is an authorised 3M converter. REACH and SGS test reports are issued on request.
