Most hotel slipper soles are made of closed-cell EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) foam, 3 to 5 mm thick, with a non-slip pattern embossed on the floor side. EVA is light, does not soak up water from bathroom floors, and can be die-cut cleanly in large runs. SANSD foams, embosses and cuts this material in its own plant in Jinjiang, Fujian.

3 mm is the usual gauge for one-night disposable hotel slippers because it is the lightest and cheapest per pair. 4 mm adds cushioning while still packing flat, and 5 mm is used for thicker spa and premium guest slippers. SANSD makes hotel slipper sole sheet and soles in any gauge from 1 mm to 9 mm.

Choose 40–45 Shore C for a soft, flexible sole on single-use slippers, or when you cut sheet in your own factory. Choose 70 Shore C when you want a thin sole that stays flat, keeps a crisp cut edge and stands up to repeated wear, as in higher-grade hotel and spa slippers. We can also match the hardness of a sole you already buy.

Both. Embossed EVA sheet is supplied at 1.2 m x 2.4 m or in a 1.4 m x 3.6 m large format, in any thickness from 1 mm to 9 mm, and sold by the sheet. Die-cut soles are cut to your pattern, split left and right, counted and sold by the pair. One container can carry both.

There is no industry standard, but a common adult one-size sole is about 29 cm long, 11 cm across the forefoot and 8 cm across the heel. Children's and other sizes are cut to order from your pattern or measurements.

The pattern is embossed into the EVA while the sheet is pressed, so the grip is part of the sole and does not wear off like a printed or sprayed finish. Diamond, wave, rib, square, honeycomb and cross patterns are available, and closed-cell EVA does not absorb the water on the floor.

A fabric or non-woven sole soaks up water on a bathroom floor, gives little grip on tile and wears through quickly. An EVA sole under the same upper stays dry on the underside, adds cushioning and carries an embossed non-slip pattern, for very little added weight.

Yes. Send one sole, or a photo of it on paper with the length, forefoot width and heel width marked. We make a cutting die from the shape, match the thickness, hardness and colour, and send a free sample for approval before production.

Yes. Send your logo artwork with the enquiry, together with the sole size and where the logo should sit. We make a sample with the logo on the sole for your approval before production starts. A new logo is quoted with its own lead time at the enquiry stage.

It depends on the thickness, hardness, colour and pattern, and on whether you take sheet or cut soles. Send the specification and the quantity you have in mind and we confirm the minimum with the quotation.

Twenty-five days from confirmed specification and approved sample. A new colour match or an embossing plate we do not already hold is quoted with its own lead time at the enquiry stage.

Left and right soles are packed in separate woven bags, each tagged with the order number, the side and the count. Bags are stacked by order, checked against the packing list and loaded at our plant. We quote FOB Xiamen, and CIF or DDP on request.
