Why not a plain rubber pad
A solid rubber pad of the same thickness barely moves under a washing machine or a small compressor. It sits there like a hard mat. What actually kills vibration is deflection, and rubber alone is too stiff to give you any at these loads.
The EVA core does the deflecting. The rubber facings stay on the outside where they belong, taking the abrasion and gripping the floor. Three layers, and the pad works across the load range where most equipment actually sits.
It also weighs less than solid rubber at the same footprint, so a container holds more pieces.

Closed cell
The core takes up no water, condensate or oil. Under a condenser standing in its own runoff, in a compressor room with oil mist in the air, or on a genset that sits outside, that is the difference between this and a cork core. Cork absorbs unless the cut edges are sealed.
Colour
Blue is stock. Cork is brown, solid rubber is black, and neither can be changed. EVA is foamed to whatever Pantone you send, which is why resellers building their own brand end up on this construction.
Rib pattern
Straight rib, both faces, full width. One face grips the floor, the other grips the machine base. No waffle or dimple pattern.
Cut to order
7/8″ is standard because that is what specifications ask for. It is not a limit. We foam our own sheet and laminate on our own lines, so thickness, size and shape are open. Send a drawing, or send a pad you already buy and we will match it.

Q: How is this different from a plain rubber pad?
A: Rubber on its own is too stiff to deflect under light and medium loads, so it transmits most of the vibration straight through. The foam core deflects and absorbs it. The rubber stays outside for grip and wear.
Q: Does the core absorb water or oil?
A: No. The cells are closed. There is no path into the material.
Q: Can the core be a colour other than blue?
A: Yes. Send a Pantone reference.
Q: What thicknesses do you cut?
A: 7/8″ standard, 3/8″ to 1″ to order. Full sheets as well, if you cut on site.
Q: Can you match a pad I buy now?
A: Send a piece. We measure core density, facing compound and thickness, rib pitch and finished size, then send a matched sample before anything runs.
Q: How fast can you quote?
